About me

Hi 👋, I’m Felix Zumstein, the creator of xlwings and xlwings Lite. I’m an independent software developer based in Lucerne. My company is called Zoomer Analytics GmbH.

User feedback is my only driving force, rather than catering to the growth fantasies of venture capitalists or executives with funny ideas.

I believe that Python should be easily accessible within Excel, which is why I made xlwings Lite available for free for both personal and commercial use in Excel’s add-in store. xlwings Lite works on Windows, macOS, and Excel on the web. It is compatible with Microsoft 365 as well as recent perpetual versions of Office, such as Office 2024.
